The "K.O. Drugs KOL - Campus Anti-drug KOL Incubation Plan", sponsored by the Beat Drugs Fund (BDF) and co-organized with MetroInfo, held in the 2022/23 academic year. Through a series of anti-drug education activities and programme production workshops, students can understand the stories of people with substance use problems and learn more about anti-drug information. They will also learn to create online programmes from scratch, and have a chance to record their radio programmes in Metro Radio, helping to spread anti-drug messages on the Internet as well as on the air.
Sponsored by The Home and Youth Affairs Bureau and Youth Development Commission, under the Funding Scheme for Youth Positive Thinking Activities, the two-year Mock Trial-Justice Education Project aims to deepen students’ understanding on the harms and criminal liability of drugs through mock trial and a variety of anti-drug educational activities. The project also aims to advance students’ knowledge on the concept of the rule of law, justice and civic responsibility etc., so as to strengthen their critical thinking and moral judgment to resist drugs. During 2018-2023, the society collaborates with Tai Kwun to implement the experiential education activity, with the drama part arranged and advised by the Hong Kong Repertory Theatre. The activity allows students to understand the history and development of Hong Kong judicial system in the historical monuments. The three stories of different themes are suitable for senior primary and secondary school students. In 2021-2022, community education and crime prevention service continues to work with the Fight Crime Committees of Wong Tai Sin and Tai Po District to provide services not limited to primary and secondary schools but also to the community.
