Based on the rationale of “crime prevention education should start from an early age ”, Community Education and Crime Prevention Service actively provides diversified on- and off- campus educational activities for schools in Hong Kong, with an aim to enhance participants’ awareness of law-abiding and their ability in crime fighting.
Life Education
Believing the power of “One’s life influences another”, ex-offenders or ex-drug abusers tell their own personal experiences from committing crime and / or drug use to rehabilitation.
Experiential learning
Enhancing participation through self-experiences; With the aid of debriefing, reflecting on the importance of own values and choices.
Multimedia and Creative Arts
Infusing elements of multimedia and creative arts into service delivery, e.g. music, dance, drama, movie and puppet, to enliven participants’ experiences and arouse resonance.
Drama Education
Adopting drama education in setting up different scenarios for exploration and discussion on a wide variety of topics.
