Mobile Life Classroom – Stimulated Jail

Mobile Life Classroom – Stimulated Jail

2013/12/16

Supported by Quality Education Fund, CECPS launched "Understand Life, Treasure Life" life education project from July 2012 to September 2013.

The project was divided into two parts; the first part consisted of experiential activities.  Beyond the geographical restrictions, it brought the "stimulated jail" into schools, so that students could have a close-to-reality experience of being kept in cells. With rehabilitated ex-offenders’ sharing and social workers’ facilitation, students were appealed to respect and cherish life.

The second part of the drama education workshop used "process drama" to allow students to experience the impact of participating in illegal activities on themselves and the people around them.

Since its launch, the project had earned great support from schools. A total of 62 schools had participated, benefiting more than 10,000 students.
